Beer pub and brewery, which is located in the middle of nowhere but taste in the middle of happiness. I recommend session IPA and Belgian Wheat.
Popular beer cafe & tap room in Okutama. A trendy style that renovated old houses. Provided as TODAY's TAPS including original brands, just craft beer heaven! The beer companion food is also nice. It is excellent to drink on the terrace when the weather is nice.
Love this microbrewery in Okutama
Some of the best beer I've had! We stumbled upon it accidentally after our original plans didn't work out. Definitely go!
It was this shop that I visited after climbing mountain climbing. I can slowly take down my thought. It seems that the store has remodeled the old private house. Is there a brewery here too? What?Staff 's older brother is motivated anyway.I've been tinkering with my iPhone all the time and chatting all the time when other staff came.I have not seen customers. There is no particular explanation about beer, and there is no enthusiasm. When going to other wineries and brewery shops, we are usually not interested in our work, although we all ask about how customers feel about what they made. Many people are interested in using beer in the area around the beer, but watching variously by looking at the passion of the staff. I think beer itself is very tasty.
great beer
Well worth the trip. Everything about it is amazing from the food to the beer to the location, atmosphere, and scenery. 😠🺠⛰ï¸
The food was delicious. I had fried chicken and fries, with a spicy mayo. I've given it a modest review because the beer was too expensive. Sorry, price yen 1,000 to 1,300 for a 500 ml pushes me out of the market.
As we brew beer ourselves, we can enjoy new beer every time. The food is delicious, and it is good to have the staff and the atmosphere of the shop. There is also a store specializing in take-out, facing the street in front of the station. At this store, we will be selling different types of brewed beer from the main store depending on the time, so please stop by.
The beer after the mountain walk is the best. It is a nice space with a terrace. The beer was delicious, but the food was also delicious.
Charming little craft beer spot with good food and a relaxed atmosphere. A nice change from the city, this is a good spot to stop at after a ride or a hike.
A calm shop and a pleasant garden. Visited on a somewhat warm day in March. I guess it will be the best in the spring!
Used on the way back from the trelan.A craft beer shop right next to Okutama StationThe shop that innovated the old private house is so fashionable that you can't think of Okutama! There are always 10 types of beer and you can drink rare ones. There are also terrace seats, so toasts are nice on the terrace seats when the weather is nice.
Very convenient after a walk in nature. Good selection if beer and quick snacks. Fish and ships, oignons rings etx
I didn't know the usual situation because I heard it at the 4th anniversary festivalBeer is definitely delicious! You can also expect a regular menu from the dishes served! It's right in front of the station. . .It is 3-4 hours one way from my home. . .I would go if I was really close. . .
I drank three kinds but all was deliciousThe delicious pizza is also the bestIt is worth going to go only hereWhat's worrisome can be seen from the windows chairs and garbage stacked inside the premises and the toilet doorsWhy is this door still open? What?I think that should be changed to a wooden door according to the atmosphere of the shop so that it does not look completely because it is not a doormato doorAt least let me set up a cushion on the front with cloth or somethingThere is coin parking on the parking lot ahead of the station.
English friendly, great new beer every time, and fresh food. Owners have an amazing story about how they came to be. Train ride there from Tokyo city is very scenic as well.
There were not much choice on the day that we visited. This was the only pub that was open at the time. We waited for the pub to open and entered second, a few minutes after we've settled down at the corner table, the pub owner asked us to move, so that they could accommodate another group which had just turned up. The round table we were given were short and uncomfortable, I ended up having to sit sideways and had my meal awkwardly. They have a reasonable amount of food options on the menu, mostly Japanese-western style. The food tasted ok, but they were heavily adapted for the Japanese taste, so you might not be getting what you had hoped for. For example their Buffalo wings were in fact Chicken wings in sweet-chilli sauce with a dab of vinegar. The food is also quite expensive, depends on what you order it might set you back about 2000 yen per head.
Nice relaxing with beautiful trees scenery outdoor area
Convenience
Great beer in a great spot!
That two star review is useless? Not much choice at that time but still pics of food? Makes no sense. THIS PLACE IS AWESOME! Take my word! It saves any hiker after a long day. Great beer, great ambience, if I could rate it higher I would. Bravo! Keep up the good work! Really nice ãµã„ã‚“ã
Nice selection of craft beers. Limited selection of food and a bit pricey, but quiet tasty. Friendly staff and great rustic, Japanese decor with a nice little beer garden. Will visit again.
You can enjoy a beer carefully made with clean water.I was very satisfied with the type of beer I had never drank before. In the shop full of feeling of handmade, the terrace seat feels warmth and calms down.
Oh, fashionable!I think it would be better if there was a single counter seat on the terrace, because I am always a solo hiker. It is a pity that it is a weekend business.
Really good beer. Food is just fried stuff, but tasty.
Great craft beers, though a bit over priced. The food menu has some decent options that go well with a cold beer. Outdoor seating is great and the staff are very friendly.
This hidden beer cafe was amazing! Really good local IPA, it looks like old traditional Japanese house.
Great little hidden gem near Okutama station. Indoor/outdoor seating, small selection of craft beers, and good food selection. Stopped by after a long hike and it was a perfect end of the day.
The order is self-service. All seats are non-smoking and there is a separate smoking space. The variety of TAP beer is abundant, and the food is also delicious. I think that it is basically a place to enjoy beer, but there are curry and pizza, so even lunch use is OK. It is a valuable shop because there are few places where I can have lunch when it is around Okutama Station. Please note that only one washroom. The image is onion fly. Lots of volume. Also fried chicken is delicious.
Excellence beer and great ambiance! We stopped here after exploring around Lake Okutama. A great find!
Awesome brewery in Okutama! Best IPA I've had in Japan. Just walk across the street and down a short alley from the station
Last year, visited twice this year. This is a craft beer shop that has been renovated from an old private house.Of course, the beer itself is delicious, but it is a great advantage to be in Okutama.Craft beer that you drink after sweating when climbing or camping is a special taste. The location near the station is also convenient. The cook will also be satisfied with the purpose of eating because of the volume. The menu has changed considerably a year ago and now.The rice dish in the image (I don't remember the name… I think it was a Cuban dish) was delicious, but unfortunately it wasn't there this time. You can also drink this craft beer on the second floor of the station. However, the store decoration that renovated an old private house is also an attractive point, and I think that you can enjoy this because you can narrow down the types of beer you can drink at the station.
Great craft beer. And the food was delicious and large portions for the price.
It is a reasonable price, but it is a delicious dish though it is affordable with its worthy beer. The atmosphere of the shop is also good, a nice shop.Terrace seating was comfortableCream ale was delicious
You can enjoy many kinds of craft beer!Old houses are wonderful!
It is a hideout shop, cuisine and craft beer were delicious, too. Craft beer was easy to choose because the explanation was written in the menu in detail. Seats are available for indoor and outdoor seating so you can enjoy cooking and beer outside on sunny days.
Lovely stop post-hike. Beer rocks (craft beer!! Wow! Currently tipsy off their stout!), very warm and cozy, didn't try the food but they have a reasonable assortment of things.
Unfortunately I did not take any photo, as was tired from mountain hiking. Place is nice and quite. it's in an alley of the other side of okutama station. Have wooden benches and table. Have their own brewery as the name itself contains beer in it. I just ordered normal food. Ate fish and chips, a salad and fried chicken. Food is just ok. They offer several kind of self brewed beer from the brewery. But can not comment on those as I did not drink. There were some local people drinking so maybe the beer is good. Overall ok food, quite place.
Great selection of beers. Excellent service.
Superb craft beer bar. Nicely tucked behind an alley and it's such an unassuming gem. The beers selection are crafted with love.
We used for return of trail running ♪There are plenty of craft beers in the stylish store!I'm glad that there are a few more types of food, so with expectations ★ Four!It is also appreciated that payments can be made with electronic money and credit card payment. If you use the terrace seats, sun protection and insects (bees and moths) are recommended. If you are going to Okutama for the first time, it is a good place to visit. We will use it when visiting Okutama from now on ♪
Great place to visit after walking. They provide 10 kind of craft beer
I LOVED the cream ale. Awesome beer :) wouldn't go here for a full meal though.
If there is such a wonderful place, it may come to Okutama to see here. You can relax in a very unrealistic place where you can drink beer and eat fish and chips. The atmosphere of the people working is also good, I want to come again. There are terrace seats, so it is recommended on sunny days!
Delicious beer and wonderful scenery were healed. I was able to enjoy an unreal time because the place was amazing. I will go again
This place really surprised me. Every beer I tried was as good as anything I've had anyplace. That includes a sour Avery would be proud of. They don't retail it so you will have to visit.
Beautiful brewery tucked away in the mountains west of Tokyo. Can’t recommend Vertere Brewery enough. Great beers and great scenery!
After exiting the ticket gate, you can see the former store in front, with a narrow bar entrance next to the building. When you walk a few meters, you will find an old Japanese house with a magnificent gate. And when you enter, there is another world. A nice and stylish bar with a sense of openness appears. You can always enjoy 10 kinds of craft beer, each with expressive and unique taste. It is a luxury to brew here so you can drink it as it is. And all the dishes are unique and delicious, so even those who can not drink can enjoy it. (Personally, the onion rings and pork paste that I used to have were exquisite, so I hope to revive them.)㪠㮠㧠As it is a cash-on style, the wallet will always be lighter on the way back if you drink too much, but you will want to go as many times as you want.
It is near the station and I tried to go home.Craft beer while watching nature surrounded by mountains is luxurious ♪ Customers are three pairs including us, but everyone is a couple ~ I wonder if they are returning from the mountains. I calmed down and drunk! Next time I can come alone ♪
